Monthly Sacred Sage Circle

The Sacred Sage Circle is a safe and nurturing place for us to connect with one another and share our stories, feelings and experiences, empower one another and be witnessed on our journeys into Elderhood.  We will celebrate our wisdom and explore our challenges.  Our Circle provides a container for the growth that is possible as we embrace the third trimester of our lives. 

Our Circles follow the guidelines of The Circle Way® Please go to The Circle Way to learn more about this process.  We will check in with one another regarding the Weekly Words, learn from one another and share our experiences as we commit to conscious aging in the midst of our busy lives.  We will commit to deep listening, thoughtful speaking and witnessing rather than fixing.  As we weave our experiences and insights together, we will see how strong the fiber of our beings is.

In the Garden, we subscribe to The Circle Way (see resource page).  This means we uphold these agreements in order to create a safe space for all.

Exploring Aging

Aging. Eldering. Getting old(er).  What does all this mean exactly?  Together we will explore all of it -- the opportunities and the challenges; the passions and the fears;  the wisdom of the unknown;  the special moments and the hard moments.  Together, we will create the new paradigm by which we choose to live and create the legacy we wish to pass on.

Creative Art Experiences

Creativity is our secret sauce for connecting right and left brains into new ways of seeing. Through simple and fun practices such as collage, writing prompts, music, movement & more, we will playfully journey into the heart and bones of aging.

Garden Reading Circle

We hold moderated conversations on the subjects of feminine spirituality, aging and legacy, the creative process, conscious eldering and more. Our values are collaboration, flexibility, spaciousness, and commitment to a connected conversation about the topics we select. We may combine art and other creative expression with our reading to deepen the experience.

Follow-Up Integration

From time to time as the Wheel of the Year turns, we’ll have a guided conversation based on everything that emerged from our Sacred Sage Circles, Creative Art Experiences and Word of the Week. There’s nothing scripted here, truly an opportunity to explore more deeply in community.

Self Exploration through Tarot and Astrology

We will explore our inner worlds and connect those worlds with the outer world using the soul languages of tarot and astrology.  No prior knowledge of these systems is necessary.  We embrace an intuitive approach and will use these tools as ways to plumb the inner wisdom of lives well lived

Our Relationship with Time

Imagine time as the most fundamental relationship with yourself and the deepest connection with your inner life. We’ll explore ways to change from a transactional relationship with time based on profit and productivity, to a relationship embodied within the rhythms and cycles of the natural world.

Ancestral Explorations

Ancestral explorations offer a framework for delving into the legacy that makes up who we are as corporeal beings, and what we want to leave behind when we move beyond this earthly realm to become wise and well ancestors for generations to follow.

Together we will explore what it means to draw upon the wisdom of ancestors of blood, time, and place … even if/when you have no “concrete” knowledge of your lineage.

SoulCollage®

SoulCollage® is an easy, enjoyable, intuitive collage process for self-discovery. Individuals make their own decks of collaged cards for personal use from found images. SoulCollage® offers a flexible, creative, accessible, and inclusive tool that can be used as a practice for exploring, healing, and empowering personal, collective evolution and, of course, aging. Both Lezli Censullo & Kayce Hughlett are trained SoulCollage® facilitators.
